Remember the old Agony of Defeat clip on the Wide World of Sports – not the ski jumper crashing, but the guy getting sandwiched by men with wooden sticks? That was hurling. The North American finals in hurling and Gaelic football will be held in Canton, Mass., over the Labor Day weekend, and definitely are worth catching if you’re in the area.
